How it teaches
Small lessons, one idea at a time.
ECG Studio teaches one method and applies it to one tracing at a time, so the reading you make on a strip you have never seen is the same reading you made on the last one. Progress is recorded by the server, not ticked by you.
- Systematic interpretation
- One method, applied in the same order to every strip. The point is a habit that holds up under pressure, not a list of patterns to recognise.
- Case by case
- Each lesson is built around a tracing and one idea it shows. The tracings are synthetic — drawn to teach, never taken from a patient.
- Server-recorded completion
- Nothing is marked complete until the server records that you have done it. There is no self-ticked checklist, and your progress is what the studio can show.
- Your learning path
- The Learn area lists the activities open to you as a path, and Continue learning picks up where you stopped.
- Two areas: Learn and The Wall
- Learn holds the lessons and your path. The Wall is where deliberate practice on reviewed tracings will live, chapter by chapter, as each set completes independent clinician review. In development

Progress recorded server-side
When you have done it, the server records it. The lesson is then complete on your learning path, and not before.
Who can use it today
A limited pilot, with access that is granted.
ECG Studio is running, but it is not open to everyone yet. Three things are true about it today, and each one is a deliberate choice rather than a gap.
A limited pilot
In the app it is labelled an educational beta. A small group is using it while the reviews that would let it open wider are still pending. It is a real product, in real use, on purpose kept small.
Access is granted, not self-claimed
There is no switch you can flip yourself. If ECG Studio has been enabled on your account it appears in the Teaching library when you log in; if it is not there, it is not available to you yet.
Synthetic ECGs only
Every tracing is synthetic, drawn to teach one idea. Nothing in the studio comes from a patient, and nothing in it should go back to one.

Is it available to me?
Only if access has been granted on your account. ECG Studio is a limited pilot; log in and look in the Teaching library. If it is there, it is yours to use. If it is not, it has not been enabled for you yet — there is nothing to request on this page.
Does it count as a sign-off?
No. ECG Studio progress and educational sign-offs do not confer clinical authority. It is formative practice: it is not a workplace-based assessment and it does not replace one.
Are these real patient ECGs?
No. Every tracing in the studio is synthetic — generated to teach one idea clearly. No patient data is used.
Can I use it on a ward?
Not for patient care. ECG Studio is not for clinical decision-making, and it must not be used to delay assessment or escalation. If you have a real ECG in front of you, follow your placement's clinical process, not the studio.
Has it been clinically reviewed?
Not yet. Independent clinician review is pending, and the clinical, acute-care, source, assessment, licensing and privacy/safety reviews remain pending. That is why it is an educational beta in a limited pilot, and why the notice above is shown every time the studio is entered.
